After I stopped breast feeding my 5 month old daughter 5 years ago I kept feeling increasingly sick, dizzy anxiety numbness of legs and arms. I kept going to the doctor time after time and they kept sending me home. I finally went out of town and ended up in the er they discovered I had an underactive thyroid so I started my medicine. I still feel bad almost every day. I even got on zoloft for the anxiety attacks because I couldn't even leave the house. Any suggestions?

Your levels might not be where they should be for you to feel your best, therefore your med. dose might need to be adjusted. We are not all alike and will not fill the same at the same levels. We need to have our levels personalized to where we feel our best, within Labs reference range, not to someone elses levels.
Likewise with most of thyroid issues, we are not all alike.
Thyroid can effect all parts of our body and mind. So because it does or can effect the mine, a lot of us are on antidepressants or anxiety pills. It doesn't necessarily mean forever, but long enough to get us through rough parts of thyroid.
