Hello!
I am a new member here and wanted to say hello...
I am 25yo and a mom to a beautiful 2yo girl. I was diagnosed with Graves during my pregnancy after they found some angina and a fairly large goiter. We decided to treat with PTUs (since they thought surgery was too risky in my 4th month). Stayed on PTUs till 8 weeks post partum. Now I am SEVERELY hypo, and we are talkin like a TSH of 7.85 two weeks ago at my last draw.
Dealin with it slowly. Now takin Cytomel and Synthroid together. Just started getting these wonderful spasms in my foot and then followed by mild soreness in my calf...thinkin its from this new drug....
I was kinda liking it so far, for the first time I have been able to eat something without feeling like I am going to puke. My metaboilisim was at a halt and I could not feel hungry to eat anything....sucked.
So I have been to a few docs, found one I like now-
I am here to give support and get support as well...:)
So hello again and I am off to bed!
