But not new to thyroid problems. Diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease Feb '10. I have tried just about everything under the sun, read every book written on thyroid treatment and feel like I am right where I started.
Tired of the weight gain, the apathy and just not feeling right. I have some good days and some bad, just can't wait until they are almost always good.
Glad to be here and hope to share what I have experienced.

Welcome to the board! I agree about the supplements. It would seem we are deficient in a "lot" of things because the metabolism no longer works properly.

Welcome! Sorry to hear things are so up and down for you. If you want to share about where you are in your journey, we may be able to help. At the very least, we can relate to feeling lousy for too long!

Hi!
You aren't alone. I was diagnosed with Graves Disease and Hashi's in February 2010. I have never felt right since. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever feel like I use to again. It's a long road, but I know I'm not alone and that has really helped.
