Thank you so much, Octavia!

We needed some entertainment around here and I am confident that Octavia will fill that need and much much more!

And as the board continues to grow, we will all grow with it.

Welcome Octavia and once again, thank you for doing this!

Thank you, Andros!

I am looking forward to continuing to contribute to the forum as we all share, learn, and encourage each other. :)

Yipppeeeee

Not everyone "gets it" and it's nice to be amongst others that understand how you feel and can provide support.

Thanks to everyone!!!!

Congratulations, Octavia!! Really and truly, I do think we need someone else to keep an eye on Andros. You know what I mean??? ;)

I'll share my favorite "moderating" story. Back, years ago, I was a moderator on a website about a specific breed of dogs. There were members from all over the world including a wealthy Greek shipping heiress who lived in Monaco.

I don't know how the subject turned to art one day but I clicked on and this lady was talking about a painting she'd bought for thousands of dollars and how she was going to post a picture when she figured out how.

The next thing I knew she posted a picture that was so huge one would have to scroll up and down, side to side, to see all of it. What was it, you might ask?

Several naked men standing side by side! :confused0068:

May lightning strike me dead if I'm lying! When the picture was hurridly removed, she got mad and left accusing the site moderators of not knowing art when we saw it!!

Thanks, I DClaire!

They were good-looking! It was a strange picture (outside the obvious). It was beautifully painted, the men were all standing pretty much like in a line, all facing pretty much forward, and they were all sipping tea from elaborately painted teacups. Honest! The men were all about the same height, same age, same coloring, all had dark hair, all of that was almost identical BUT the individual teacups were all different and all were bold, colorful designs.

That was the biggest picture I've ever seen anyone post on a forum-style website. The picture was so huge it was distorting all the text.
