Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and was wondering if someone could help me understand my FNA results, The Clinical Notes say
Small hypocechoic lesion?beign nodule: exclude malignancy, I'm presuming with is what they are saying why I presented to get the FNA done?
then it goes on to say...
I got the results of my fna. I am just confused what it means. All I wa told is that it's benign.
Here's the report:
Bland follicular cells, numerous hurthle cells, macrophages, abundant colloid.
Are hurthle cells indicative of something?
Any help would be appreciated.
I called the DRs office again and told the person in medical records that per the law in Tenn and HIPAA I could come in and read my report at no charge. She changed her tune when I said that about the laws and said I could come in and read the report anytime. So I went today and started to read...
