I have been shedding my hair in excessive amounts. My Dr ream blood works and my thyroid peroxidase was 198 and TSH 4.76. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Very common. It is my opinion that the hair follicles die off when hypothryroid.

Did you just start on any levothyroxine or other T4 med? I think sometimes that can occur at first. Also get your Iron levels checked. 4 tests and Ferritin.
