My TG is 0.4 and TG antibody 2.5. I read that the TG is either higher or lower as a result of the antibodies being there. What's the truth?

Also, my TG has been under 0,5 for over six years, Is that unusual?

It's not a test that most have continually run - unless they have had cancer or subsequent thyroid removal.

Have you ever had a thyroid ultrasound?

TgAB makes the Tg result lower. It binds to the Tg making it harder to detect.

A low Tg result is desirable.
