So, I had a goiter and it was so enlarged it started causing swallowing issues and would cut my breathing off (especially at night). Went to ENT and he said you need it removed. Got it removed and well everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. My parathyroids weren't producing calcium, my right vocal cord is paralyzed, and I can't breathe through my mouth during any heart elevating activities. My weight gain is out of control. My body doesn't like the generic medications or synthyroid because of the gluten therefore it doesn't absorb right. In 9 years I have only been within the normal range twice. I'm either hypo or hyper. I am worried about my weight because I weigh 240lbs and I'm freaking tired all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions that could help?
