Hello there
I had my full thyroid removed (papillary cancer) in June 2013. Prior to that, my weight was very consistent... for 20 years! I had babies and pretty much went back to my usual weight. However, I have gained weight since my surgery 2 1/2 years ago. I am at my "pregnancy weight".
My bloodwork during this time has usually been normal, even though I figured I must be hypo since I was gaining the weight (more recently I went hyper and then hypo, but usually its been fine)..
I take 100 mcg Synthroid (well, generic but always same manufacturer). If my bloodwork is good, I assume it's nothing to do with my surgery, right? Nothing else has changed, aside from me getting older (so just age/metabolism??) I don't really eat more than I used to, and it's not like I used to exercise and stopped because I didn't before either (but yes I should start).
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
